Scrapbook
I've been in London for nearly eight years now and the main thing I miss from Sydney is not the sunshine or outdoors, it's Mum, Dad and my wonderful brother Colin. They still haven't been able to come over to see artisan&vine and as widespread as the fantastic publications we've have the honour to feature in are here, they don't make it Down Under. So - Mum, Dad, Colin - this scrapbook of some of my favourite articles about artisan&vine is for you!
None of these reviews were paid for or commissioned by artisan&vine - in fact - in most cases we had no idea a reviewer was here!
View London, www.viewlondon.co.uk, 26 November 2008
The whole team at artisan&vine were delighted to learn we received the highest possible rating - 5 stars - from the independent reviewer for View London for our food, wine, ambience and service. We were even more excited to learn we would make the View London front page for that week! Below is an excerpt of the review, or, follow this link for full details.
Wine+ On-Trade Insider, No.3 November 2008
Ok, so this latest article is the one exception that makes the rule; it is the exact opposite of an anonymous review: I was asked by the good people of Wine+ to write this one myself! After hearing about some of the interesting things we were doing at artisan&vine, the Wine+ team asked me to write up our experiences. Below is a snapshot, click here for the full article, including fantastic commentary from someone I have massive respect for, Peter McCombie, MW.

Food & Travel Magazine, December 2008 issue
We loved seeing pictures of artisan&vine in this high profile glossy magazine. The sense of passion and place that good local and natural wines can evoke is the same sentiment driving great food and travel.

Caterer and Hotelkeeper Magazine, 30 October 2008
This is a great hospitality industry magazine that goes to 17,000+ people per week. We are really proud of this article which also does a great justice to natural wines. Link to article online.
Metro newspaper, 30 October 2008
It seems 30 October was a good press day for us. The Metro paid us an anonymous visit some time in October and this article was the result. The Metro is distributed to over 1.3million people every day - as good an antidote to 'virtual tumbleweed' as any! Another review from an industry expert we're really proud to have received.

Visit London, September 2008, www.visitlondon.com/attractions/pubs_bars/top-ten-london-wine-bars
This was our first piece of unexpected press. We had no idea that representatives of Visit London had been to artisan&vine and were over the moon when they called to ask for a photo on a feature for Londons Top Ten wine bars.
